  +2 stars for how corporate handled the situation
  Like I said before, I've had good experiences with O'Reilly in general, so, since this seemed out of character for them, I emailed corporate to see if there was anything they could do so that others didn't share in my experience.
  They immediately forwarded my message to the regional manager who gave me a call to get the details of my experience so it could be addressed for the future and then insisted on refunding me the purchase price of the rotors I'd bought to sort things out with my car.
  
  Original 1 star review follows:
  Awful customer communication: I needed my brakes done urgently. I called this location to ask if they could turn my rotors and they said that they could, so I drove up (from Davis) only to have them tell me that, despite what I was told on the phone, they couldn't do it at that time because there wasn't anyone there trained in it. I was, however, told that the guy who did it would be in first thing the next morning, so if I came back then, I could get them done. Showed up the following morning only to be told by that guy that he wasn't doing them that day, and I'd need to wait again until the following day. If they had told me from the outset that I'd have to wait two days (as another location did) I might have actually been able to get my car safely usable before the end of the weekend.
  Just for the record: I've had good experiences with O'Reilly in general, it was just an issue with this location.
